Sarah Hammett, MPT, head ergomomma
Sarah holds her Masters in Physical Therapy with 10 years of pediatric and orthopedic experience servicing children to adults, injured workers to the athlete. She spent the last few years assessing workplaces and educating workers and companies on proper stretching and body mechanics in the work place.
As a busy working mom of two amazing children, Sarah had an “ah ha” moment while giving a lifting and body mechanic seminar at a factory. Yes these employees spend 8 hours performing repetitive lifting and yes it is hard work and exhausting and grueling.
But MOMS lift, carry, push, pull, and reach every day, all day. We don’t clock in and out. We are 24/7!! And many of us have no idea that carrying kids, groceries, pushing that heavy cart and twisting ourselves into odd positions while playing is really taking a toll on our bodies. Neck, shoulder, and back aches combined with repetitive motions, no time for stretching, and exhaustion can cause Momma Aches and Pains.
Combining her momma brain and her therapist brain, Sarah’s mission is to provide education and resources for moms to reduce aches, pains and strains, being your best self for your little ones!
